Artist of the Month: Makenzy Miller

Makienzy Miller is a freshman at Delphi Community High School with an amazing ability to draw realistic people and faces. She enjoys using watercolor, pencils, and graphite in her art, and if she only had to draw with three colors they would be “black, gray and tan-ish… beige, yeah, that.” The inspiration that helps her draw these amazing pieces comes from her friend, fellow freshman Zoe Callender:  “What she draws I just try to recreate.” She does this while adding a little piece of herself. Her drawing started back in elementary school, with little doodles on her math homework. After high school is over she wants to “go into some sort of medical field, like veterinary science.”
