Former Oracle basketball player honored
Last weekend, during halftime of the boys’ varsity homecoming basketball game, Cole Murray was recognized for his basketball career. Murray’s jersey number 25 was retired by the Delphi Community School Board of Trustees. At Delphi, he was a member of the 1,000 point club, recognized as 3rd team All State in 2013, along with leading the Oracles to a sectional championship. After graduating from Delphi, Cole proceeded to play basketball at Northern Kentucky University. There, he led his team to a Horizon League Championship and to a bid in the NCAA Tournament in 2017. Murray is the latest member to enter the Oracle Hall of Fame.
