Students participate in a mock Quiz Bowl meet to prepare for the first meet in the coming weeks.

Quiz Bowl

Quiz Bowl is an academic club that meets about twice a week. They talk about a plethora of different topics, ranging from, “Who won the Superbowl in 2013?” to “Who is the god of war in Greek mythology?” and many others like them. There are a handful of competitions each year, where you compete against schools all across northern Indiana. There is a varsity team and a junior varsity team. Mrs. Doyle is the coach of both teams. Katie Stanley, senior, said “Quiz Bowl is a really fun after school activity. During Quiz Bowl I’ve learned about many cultures and categories of facts. The best thing about it is the anecdotes I can add to conversations, like random facts and random stories.”
