DCHS Choir Solo And Ensemble
On Saturday, Feb. 2, many members of the choir geared up to perform at their solo and ensemble. This was hosted at Harrison and went all through the day. Some songs were hard, and a few of them even sang in Latin! Over 20 kids preformed and many of them received golds for their performances. The choirs are all directed by Mindy Cotton.
Because of the E-learning days that transpired consecutively during the polar vortex, the students only had two weeks to practice their pieces. That didn’t stop our amazing choir program though because Ensley Circle, Noah Red Elk, Katlyn Sherinian, and Gabby Bruestle are going to state for their solo performances.
