DCHS Band preforms at Solo and Ensemble

This weekend, January 26, members of the DCHS band will go to contest and perform their much labored over pieces of music. Many of the students are not only doing ensembles, but solo pieces too. There will be eight ensembles and ten solos, respectively.

Performers have to wake up early and drive to Twin Lakes High School, where performance times can range in between anywhere from 8am-3pm. Students are very excited to be taking part in this occasion. If they perform well enough, they may even get a gold medal!

Jay Dennison, leader of the band, has provided music pertaining to each ensemble and solo’s needs. Each group is equipped with the instruments, music, and talent to be the best they can be.
