Students attend NBM printware show

Last Friday, Sept. 14, Delphi teachers Mrs. Pickering and Mrs. Brummett took 23 students to the Convention Center in Indianapolis for the NBM show. Students were able to see lots of different businesses in the industry of digital graphics. They were also shown different applications in the industry, from t-shirts and apparel all the way to vinyl.

According to graphic design teacher Mrs. Brummett, “We were showing the kids potential careers and tech in the industry.” The technology on display was very much like what is in the print shop. Though it is not as advanced or large scale as some of the big companies in the industry, the print shop is still capable of some pretty big projects, and the field trip taught these students what is possible.
