Quiz Bowl season ends on a high note

Anatomy class takes on pig dissection unit
Mrs. Dennison’s anatomy classes are in the middle of their pig dissection unit. The unit lasts between four to six weeks and covers most aspects of the pig’s anatomy. Students cover the external anatomy first, then they move onto the internal aspects (muscles, organs, and blood vessels). Last weekend, during halftime of the boys’ varsity homecoming basketball game, Cole Murray was recognized for his basketball career. Murray’s jersey number 25 was retired by the Delphi Community School Board of Trustees. Recycling project to fund fish pond
This semester Mrs. Johnson and the custodians are teaming up on an impactful project. They hope to be able to spruce up the smaller fish pond in the library to make it healthy enough for fish to live in it. Community wide blood drive for Alex
On Jan. 16, Delphi Community High School hosted a community blood drive. Anyone from the community could donate, and all of the Delphi club presidents congregated to find ways to spread the word. In total, our community donated 39 units of blood, with 9 being double red. Over 15 adults in our town came in and donated.
