Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test
Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test is the newest reality TV show airing on Fox. I’ve watched the first three episodes so far, and personally, I’m hooked! The basis of the show is simple: survive. Special Forces takes household celebrity names, such as Mel B (Spice Girl), Jamie Lynn Spears (sister of Brittney Spears), Montell Jordan (ever heard “This Is How We Do It”?), and Dwight Howard (NBA player), alongside many other people of acclaim and a host of Olympic athletes. They’re then put through challenges that take place during actual special forces training. Starting at 16 contestants, each one endures brutal conditions and harsh trials to prove—or to reveal—true grit.
What’s unique about World’s Toughest Test, compared to most of reality television, is that there aren’t any votes to eliminate people. Instead, the winner of the show will be the last one standing (at the time of this writing, only three episodes have been released).
If you would like to watch what it takes for one to make a special forces team and serve one’s country to the highest degree, new episodes of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test premiere every Wednesday on FOX and are able to be streamed the next day on Hulu.
