Faculty Feature: Mrs. Andrews

  • When was the last time you laughed so hard that you cried?
  • I would have to say when my 6’ 3” son was trying to catch his little three-pound bunny! Every time he got close to catching it, it would hop right out of his grasp! Watching my huge son try to catch a little fluff ball in the grass for fifteen minutes was hysterical!

  • What is something you’re passionate about that no one would guess at first glance?
  • I love woodworking! I’ve made tables, jewelry boxes, and I even built most of my kitchen cabinets! I love the art and the detail work that goes into it.

  • Do you think you could live in a plastic bubble at the bottom of the sea for one year?
  • No! Well, only if I was paid enough! I think it would be very dark, very cold, and very lonely . . .

  • Have you ever been out of the country? If so, where is your favorite place to travel outside of the U.S.?
  • Yes! I visited Canada when I was a child. I also studied agriculture in Costa Rica when I worked for the University of Missouri . . . It was beautiful! My favorite place to travel inside the U.S. would have to be Michigan because of the Great Lakes. I honestly love to be anywhere around a body of water or somewhere on the coast.

  • If you could change any historical event, what would it be?
  • The Holocaust. The ability to be able to save millions of lives would be an honor.

  • BONUS: If you were in the witness protection program, what would be your new name and where would you go?
  • Rosemary Branson, and I would live in Michigan.
