FFA elects new officers
On Dec. 12, 2021, FFA elected new officers. Lacey Pickering took Connor Roberson’s spot as president; Reagan Gleason and Lannon Pickering took Colton Winberg and Corbin Krebs’ spot as co-vice presidents; Abby Mears replaced Sam Bieghler as secretary; Molly Tharp replaced Eric Anchor as treasurer; Emily Mears took Eli Bender’s spot as reporter; Aarion Walton took Kamren Robinson’s spot as sentinel; and Kamren Robinson took Micah Lawless’s spot as Student advisor. The new officers officially took their positions at the first official meeting of the year, January 7, 2022. The election process consisted of an application where the applicants described what they were involved in and what they could do to help the chapter. In order for the application to count, it had to be turned in on time. The Presidential candidates were then interviewed by a set of FFA seniors and advisors. The seniors then came up with a slate and the chapter discussed and approved it.
