Teacher Feature: Mr. German
- Where is your favorite place to camp?
- Ouabache State Park! I like it because it has a super cool and laid-back five mile bike trail that leads right into Bluffton, the town nearby.
- What was the driving influence behind you wanting to teach Nutrition and Wellness?
- I wanted to help kids understand how to live a healthier and longer life. I also know athletes are interested in getting stronger and building more body weight, so it’s an awesome opportunity for me to help guide them.
- If you were a ghost, who or where would you haunt?
- I would haunt all of my coaching buds! Most notably, Mr. Tononsi, Mr. Burpo, and Mr. Gasser. It’d be fun to pull little pranks on them throughout the day.
- Were you involved in any sports in high school?
- Of course! I played football and baseball throughout high school and I even wrestled for two years.
- What is your go-to song to belt out in the shower?
- I mostly belt out songs when I’m mowing, but it would have to be I Can Only Imagine by MercyMe.
- BONUS: If you were in the witness protection program, what would be your new name and where would you go?
- My name would be Jim “Gym” Shoe, and I would live in the Bahamas, soaking up the sun.
