It’s not just a game, @its_apenalty
While the whole nation was captivated by the Super Bowl commercials or even The Weeknd this past Sunday, something else caught my eye. “It’s a Penalty” is a nonprofit organization that harnesses the power of sports to prevent abuse, exploitation, and trafficking globally. On Jan. 30, the week before Super Bowl Sunday, they started their campaign “One Team, Tampa Bay.” They used celebrity athletes to boost their campaign, along with signage around the area. Up to this point, the campaign has helped spot 16 missing children from the Southwest Florida missing persons list. Past, present, and future victims are counting on us to end trafficking and exploitation. Follow @its_apenalty to help the cause.
