Advanced Culinary Arts puts culinary skills to good use
When walking into the business wing, it is hard not to notice the amazing smells coming from the culinary arts classroom. From eggs and bacon to pies and cakes, they make it all. One of the classes, Mrs. Nethercutt’s Advanced Culinary Arts class, goes as far as to also cook and prepare meals for school events.
Advanced Culinary Arts has done some great work this semester. Not only have they filled the halls with the smells of bacon and pies, but they have also prepared food for events around the school. They recently prepared a special breakfast for the 35 professionals who came in to present on Career Day. They also made cakes for Mr. Gilbert’s wedding party and Mr. Mroczkiewicz’s baby shower. With so much of the school year left, it will be great to watch and see what else they have cooking.
