English Department Hosts 3rd Annual This I Believe Contest

As the snow begins to pile up in the fields and snow plows start running their routes on the roads, This I Believe prompts are beginning to appear on the desks of English students here at DCHS. In its third year, the goal of the program is to encourage students to express themselves and their experiences in the form of writing.

After all submissions are completed, the top essays from each grade will be chosen by the English teachers. Proceeding this phase, the winners will be revealed to the student body and the winners will be given the opportunity to verbally present their essays at the This I Believe event, which will be held at the Delphi Opera House on Wednesday, March 6 at 6:30.
