Yearbook class hard at work

Throughout the school year, Mrs. Brummett’s yearbook class works hard to put together the yearbook. Starting at the beginning of the year, the class finishes up the previous year’s yearbook. Then, starting in fall, they plan out and assign pages for the new year’s book. Each student in the class is assigned certain pages and spreads that they have to cover. While each student is responsible for the creation of their pages, the whole staff helps to take the pictures and plan the pages. With the threat of closing always looming, the staff has been spending most of their time at school trying to get as many pictures as possible. Even with the stress, the yearbook staff enjoys the class. According to senior editor Maren Kochert, “My favorite thing about yearbook is everything… I can’t decide my favorite part.”
