Faculty Spotlight: Miss Crowel’s TikToks

Just over a week ago, Miss Crowel decided to upload her first TikTok video as a way to interact with students. Before she knew it, she had over one million views. “My phone would get ninety-nine plus notifications every time I would open it. I had to turn off notifications from the app altogether,” she says. Miss Crowel’s TikTok community seems to have a soft spot in their heart for her cat, Frank, whom she assures we will continue to see. “What was really special was getting to see all of the students commenting about how they wished they could have me as an art teacher. I even joked about it to my students the next day and told them that they should feel lucky to have me as a teacher,” Miss Crowel said with a chuckle. We are certainly lucky to have Miss Crowel here as a teacher this year and we are looking forward to her TikTok content in the future…including Frank!
