SADD plans for October
SADD, headed by Mrs. Carpenter, is starting off strong for the month of October. This month will be National Substance Abuse Prevention Month. SADD will be distributing Potty Talks in the bathrooms and hallways, which are informational posters with facts about drugs, alcohol, and substance overdosing. They will be holding a virtual National Red Ribbon Rally on Oct. 1 (with Red Ribbon Week being from Oct. 23 – Oct. 31), the NRSF Driving 101 contest on Oct. 19, National Teen Driver Safety Week from Oct. 18 – Oct. 24, and Rock the Belt will be at the same time as Driver Safety. Megan Kelly, president of SADD, hopes that everyone has a safe month.
