Senior Nights come early in 2020
Senior Night is the night every athlete looks forward to, the night when all your hardwork and dedication is recognized and you are the center of attention. Usually this special event occurs on the last home game of the season, but this year fall teams are being cautious. Many of Delphi’s fall sports have already had their senior nights, even with the seasons just begun. Soccer, golf, and volleyball all had theirs within two weeks of games beginning. Cross country is forced to have their senior night on their only home meet left, Sept. 24. While it may seem rushed and takes away some of the pride coming with finishing your senior year, coaches are not risking anything with many games cancelling due to COVID-19.
