Road to Super Bowl LI

Well, sports fans, only two teams remain and the countdown to Super Bowl LI, or 51 for those of you who don’t know your Roman numerals, has begun. The Atlanta Falcons will be facing off against the fearsome New England Patriots after defeating the Green Bay Packers 44-21. This will be Tom Brady’s seventh Super Bowl appearance, a true veteran of Super Bowls to say the least. That’s more times than the Falcons have ever been to the Super Bowl, considering they have only appeared once before in 1999, suffering a loss against the Denver Broncos.

Brady led his team to this year’s Super Bowl by stomping the Steelers 36-17 last Sunday. The 11- 5 Falcons have been leading the charts in stats as the number one offense in the NFC and also as the number one team in passing yards, and they are more than hungry to go out and show the veteran Patriots what the underdogs are capable of. Kick-off for this year’s Super Bowl is Sunday, Feb. 5 at 6:30 on FOX network. Over 100 million people tune in for the game each year.
