Senior members of this year’s team included Summer Sutton, Kayle Snowberger, Fallon Rumell, Cayla Hawn, Abi Chapman, and Sarah Coghill.

The Delphi girls’ basketball team finished up their season with an 11-12 record, very respectable by most standards, and thanks in part to a strong group of seniors.

Senior Sarah Coghill has been playing basketball since the sixth grade and has appreciated the game since she was young.   “My biggest impact in basketball would probably be my teammates because they have always pushed me to become a better player and they’ve always had my back,”  Sarah said.

Erika Carroll, freshman, has enjoyed her first year on the basketball team and appreciated the opportunity to play with the older girls.  “The seniors this year have taught me a lot about pushing myself and achieving great things as a team.”

Mekenzie Gear, sophomore, was a member of the JV team this year.  “This year’s seniors have been a great influence and have taught me to work hard.”

The girls’ program has grown as a result of the hard work and dedication of these senior athletes.
