Girls’ basketball battles to sectional finals

The girls’ basketball team faced off in their sectional tournament with the determination and spirit that is expected of Oracle athletes.

Tuesday the girls started out the week with a win over Fountain Central. The two teams had been tied up to a point, but the Lady Oracles managed to pull ahead and take the win, 35-32.

Starting off the weekend games, the Oracles took on Clinton Central in a one-sided showdown ending in a 46-23 Oracle win.

Coming off their win the night before, the Lady Oracles faced off against Seeger. The game went into overtime tied at 29-29, but ended in an unfortunate 31-39 loss.

The girls ended their season with a respectable final record of 11-12.
