Rudolph is doing more than just helping Santa Claus deliver presents this year; he’s delivering pizzas, too! Domino’s Pizza in Japan recently released a video showing employees leading a reindeer around a parking lot with pizzas first on its back and then on a red sleigh. While the commercial may look like just some good-natured Christmas fun, the company announced that they are indeed training reindeer to deliver takeaways during the colder months of the winter season.

In recent press releases, Domino’s states that they are currently working on a variety of delivery methods around the world. In Japan, the reindeer’s progress is monitored by smartphone. It has published a “pizza delivery action program” and is working with the Research Center of Hokkaido to make sure the animals stay safe.

However, reindeer deliveries aren’t the only strange way Domino’s has come up with to deliver pizza. A couple in New Zealand recently received their pizza via drone, and another pizza was delivered by canoe in the UK. People can also order Domino’s pizza via text and Twitter by sending the pizza emoji.

Domino’s Pizza in Japan plans to send their first delivery reindeer on Dec. 1, 2016. What kind of pizza will Santa’s helper deliver? Most likely squid, as it is the most popular topping in the country.
